It is with great pleasure that I welcome the participants of The Mulawarman International Conference on Tropical Public Health (MICTOPH).
Let me quote two of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW: 1) "Whoever follows a path to seek knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to heaven." (HR. Muslim); 2) 'Acquire knowledge and impart it to the people.' (Al Tirmidhi). As we know, the quest for knowledge has been from the beginning of time but knowledge only becomes valuable when it is disseminated and applied to benefit humankind
Mulawarman International Conference on Tropical Public Health (MICTOPH) will be a platform to gather and disseminate the latest knowledge in public health science research and community empowerment. Academicians, Scientists, Researchers, and practitioners of public health will be able to share and discuss new findings and applications of public health.
We also hope that this annual routine event will result in future collaborations between universities, research institutions, and industry both locally and internationally. In particular, it is expected that focus will be given to issues on Global Health for Sustainable Forestry Development to Support The New National Capital City (IKN) Transition.
I would like to thank all speakers, oral and poster presenters, and all participants who were willing to share knowledge with all participants of this international conference both online and offline.
Finally, I would like to congratulate the organizing committee for their tremendous efforts in organizing the conference. I pray to Allah SWT that the conference will be a success and get blessings.
